Rahul Sethi | Born in New Delhi in
1983, he came to Toronto with his parents and elder brother in
1989. Introduced to writing through an expressive writing course
in his first year of university, he began to write stories of
his childhood - how it was to grow up as a South Asian in Canada.
Soon after, Rahul published his first book of short-stories then
traveled to Wales to pursue a master's degree in Creative Writing.
Rahul's work centres on the
Indian identity. He draws on his experiences growing-up in and
outside of India for inspiration, exploring the religious and
poverty stricken of a vast and affluent culture.
